Safety training for contractors
The entire technical staff participated in a special training session for contractors working on classified sites. This safety training leads to an ATEX level 1 (UIC Level 1) clearance for Contractors working on chemical and industrial sites and ATEX Level 2 (Level 2 UIC) for Overseeing contractors working on chemical and industrial sites.
The training programme for the UIC Level 1 day:

2/ Occupational hazards - chemical (toxic, fire, explosion...)

- Risk assessment and the single assessment document.

2/ Roles and responsibilities of different workers
- Consequences of accidents.
- Delegation of responsibility.
3/ Specific hazards of chemical, petrochemical and other industries
- Specific safety instructions.
- Diffusion of safety message.
- Changes in work situations.
- Concurrent activities and the role of L2.

The training was delivered by APAVE and the whole of the AMIO Levage technical team participated. After the tests ending the training, every person in the AMIO Levage technical department was awarded a UIC Level 1 certificate for technicians and UIC Level 2 certificate for work overseers.
